Jackie is a qualified nurse (RNMH) with over 30 years’ experience of working in both clinical nursing and in senior manager roles within health and social care.
Jackie is currently Director of Social Care with Chailey Heritage Foundation, providing both residential and domiciliary outreach services to children and young adults with complex physical disabilities and health care needs.
Jackie has considerable experience of working with adults with learning and physical disabilities, or an acquired brain injury, and with older adults with complex needs. She is a member of the Tribunals Service for Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and the Mental Health Tribunal in the South Eastern Region.
Jackie has previous experience as a Panel Member for the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Conduct and Competence Committees). She has worked as an inspector for the Commission for Social Care Improvement (CSCI), a predecessor of CQC. She has led and managed services registered with both CQC and Ofsted and is skilled in delivering services to the highest standards in a regulated environment.
Jackie lives in Brighton.
