Jackie is a qualified nurse (RNMH) with over 30 years experience of working in both clinical nursing and in senior manager roles within both health and social care.
Jackie is currently a Disability Qualified member of the Tribunal Service hearing Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Personal Independence Payment (PIP) appeals, a Specialist Member of the Mental Health Tribunal in the Southeastern Region and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SEND).
Jackie has previous experience as a Panel Member for the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Conduct and Competence Committee).
Jackie has considerable experience of working with children and adults with complex learning and physical disabilities and/or an acquired brain injury.
She has worked as an inspector for the Commission for Social Care Improvement (CSCI), a predecessor of CQC.
She has led and managed services registered with both CQC and Ofsted and is skilled in delivering services to the highest standards in a regulated environment.
