Angela has worked in both strategic leadership and operational management roles in health, social care and housing, with responsibility for the quality and performance of services provided in community and residential care settings.
As an independent health and social care consultant, she leads pathway redesign and change projects, and authors strategy documents for communities, commissioning authorities and care companies across England.
An improvement specialist, Angela is experienced in using business process re-engineering to drive up performance in support environments. She has worked effectively with people with lived experience, boards, politicians, and others, setting stretching goals and priorities. Her commitment to coproduction has successfully led to cultural change, personalised care and enabled people in both community and residential settings to achieve better outcomes.
She also works as an independent peer reviewer for the Local Government Association (LGA) and for the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) and was part of the team that created the National Level 5 Training Programme ‘Commissioning for Wellbeing’ supported by Skills for Care.
